Allison Miller is an internationally regarded industry expert and innovator in cybersecurity, fraud/anti-abuse, and payments technology, having spent the past 20 years scaling teams and technology that protect people and platforms. She has led major initiatives to engineer the defenses for core payment and e-commerce systems and deliver capabilities into key technologies that protect consumers from online threats, pioneering the development of real-time risk prevention and detection systems running at internet-scale. As an independent consultant and advisor, she works with CEOs, CISOs, and technical teams to hone their product and go-to-market strategies, scale operations effectively, and improve performance.

Jay Beale is CEO and CTO of InGuardians, where he leads the cloud and Kubernetes penetration testing and advisory services. He is a creator and maintainer of multiple successful open source projects, including the Peirates attack tool for Kubernetes, the Bustakube CTF Kubernetes cluster, and Bastille Linux. He also authors and teaches the highly rated Black Hat class, “Attacking and Defending Kubernetes, Linux, and Containers,” both publicly and privately.

Mr. Sharpe is a long-time (+30 years) Cybersecurity, Governance, and Digital Transformation expert with real-world operational experience. Mr. Sharpe has run business units and has influenced national policy. He has spent much of his career helping corporations and government agencies create value while mitigating cyber risk. This gives him a pragmatic understanding of the delicate balance between Business realities, Cybersecurity, and Operational Effectiveness. He began his career at NSA, moving into the Management Consulting ranks building practices at Booz Allen and KPMG. He subsequently co-founded two firms with successful exits, including the Hackett Group (NASDAQ HCKT). He has participated in over 25 M&A transactions. He has delivered to clients in almost 30 countries on 6 continents. Alex is one of the few who has been part of executive teams, has run business units, and served as a CIO and as a CISO.

Gunnar is the CISO at Forter, a trust platform for digital commerce. Previously, he was chief security architect at Bank of America, a visiting scientist at the Software Engineering Institute at Carnegie Mellon, and a contributing analyst at Securosis.

Dave has 30 years of industry experience. He has extensive experience in IT security operations and management. Dave is the Global Advisory CISO and Head of the Special Operations & Engagements team for 1Password. He is the founder of the security site Liquidmatrix Security Digest & podcast. He is currently a member of the board of directors for BSides Las Vegas. Dave has previously worked in critical infrastructure for 9 years as well as for companies such as Duo Security, Akamai, Cisco, AMD and IBM. Previously he served on the board of directors for (ISC)2 as well as being a founder of the BSides Toronto conference. Dave was a DEF CON speaker operations goon for 13 years. Lewis also serves on the advisory board for the Black Hat Sector Security Conference in Canada and the CFP review board for 44CON in the UK. Dave has previously written columns for Forbes, CSO Online, Huffington Post, The Daily Swig and others.

Josh is the owner and president of Eyra Security, an information security and business improvement consulting firm that specializes in helping startups and organizations in transition take advantage of lean and agile methods, open source technology and varied frameworks used for security, risk management and compliance. He also serves on the GIAC Advisory Board. Additionally, as an active member in the information security community, Josh is a member of ISSA, Agile Iowa, OWASP, DC612, Central Iowa Area Linux Users Group and Infragard.

Ken is the President and Principal Consultant of KRvW Associates, LLC, an independent information security consulting company, and a Visiting Scientist at Carnegie Mellon University. He has held executive and senior technologist positions at Tekmark, Para-Protect, Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), the U.S. Department of Defense, Carnegie Mellon University, and Lehigh University. Ken is a frequent speaker at technical conferences, and has presented papers and training for CSI, ISF, USENIX, FIRST, CERT, among others.

Carlos is a Principal Consultant and Research Team Lead for TrustedSec, an information security consulting company. Carlos was the Director of Reverse Engineering and Integrations for a major Vulnerability Management company where he lead the team efforts in reversing protocols and vulnerabilities for the expansion of vulnerability scanning products, he also lead the team search and reporting of zero-day vulnerabilities on multiple consumer and enterprise products. Carlos is also an independent trainer having trained both offense and defensive principals to private and government customer.

Ian is the Co-Founder and CEO of Gomboc.ai who are providing cloud infrastructure security solutions. Before Gomboc.ai, Ian held senior leadership positions with Rapid7, Cimpress, Amazon, ZeroFOX, IOActive and has over 25 years of experience in the security industry as a practitioner. Ian is also the co-founder of DC9723 - the Tel Aviv DEFCON group-and serves as a BSides Las Vegas board member. He is also the creator and co-CEO of The CISO Track - a series of CISO centric curated events.

Rich is CEO and Analyst for Securosis, an information security research and advisory firm, in addition to Founder and Vice President of Product at DisruptOPS, a cloud environment monitoring platform. Prior to founding Securosis, he was Research Vice President for Gartner’s security team where he also served as Research Co-Chair for the Gartner Security Summit. Additionally, Rich has served as an independent consultant, web application developer, software development manager, and a systems and network administrator.
