Profile

Mr. McCollum serves in a Senior Executive Leadership capacity, in the role as a Managing Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer. He is responsible for establishing and maintaining Enterprise Security, its vision, strategy, and risk, ensuring all information assets and technologies are adequately protected. He leads his teams in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient processes across the organization to reduce security technology risk. In addition, he is responsible for the Security Innovation, Security Operations, Identity and Access Management, Disaster Recover, and Business Continuity functions.

Mr. McCollum joined ICMA-RC in October 2011 and has more than 25 years' experience providing strategic direction and operational leadership of enterprise IT infrastructure comprising information security operations, help desk support, server operations, datacenter operations, and network voice/data services.

Mr. McCollum served on the board of directors for the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF) and actively participates on various industry advisory committees including the SPARK Data Security Oversight Board and IANS Security Client Advisory Committee. He is currently pursuing a MS in Cyber Risk Management at Georgetown University, to complement his bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, from North Carolina Central University and his certifications and license: C|CISO, SANS GIAC/GSLC, and FINRA Series 99.
