Jeff Gerson

Mr. Gerson has been responsible for all technology strategies, standards, and operations across application development, infrastructure and security at Leerink since 2001.  Prior to joining Leerink, Mr. Gerson worked for Mainspring, Inc., a strategic consultancy that created strategies for their clients to capitalize on internet and e-commerce opportunities.  Mainspring was acquired by IBM Global Services in 2001.  He also worked in a variety of business and technical roles for JL Kaplan Associates, a multi-billion dollar registered investment advisor.  In 2008, Mr. Gerson founded the Sell-Side CIO Forum, an industry peer group of investment bank technology leaders that meet regularly to discuss common challenges.  Forum topics include data governance, business continuity, security, vendor management, organizational structure, and regulatory requirements.  Mr. Gerson holds a Bachelor of Science from Babson College in Finance, Investments, and Economics.
